Warranty & Limitation Policy
CMD
We, PT Interia Regalia Nusantara (“Interia”), in coordination with CMD Ltd (“CMD”), hereby provide a warranty against the goods supplied by us of CMD brand. This warranty is to the exclusion of, and hereby supersedes, all other warranties and representations, with the exception of any warranties required and or implied by Indonesian Law.
Interia warrants that, for a period from the date of delivery to the Buyer (“Warranty Period”) its Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees, at its option, to repair or replace those parts which are confirmed as defective by Interia, subject to the following terms and conditions:
Components Warranty Period
- Electrical components and wiring (power socket, power plug, USB charging port, and power cable) 3 years
- Aluminum, other metals, and plastic components – 3 years
- Powder coating, paint, and other material finishes – 2 years
- Non-electrical components and wiring (HDMI socket, VGA socket, CAT6 socket, etc.) – 1 year
*Special terms & conditions: CMD Reveal monitor arm – up to 10 years
(a) This warranty is only valid and exercisable by the original purchaser of new Goods from Interia who has paid the full contract price for the Goods and subject to the Warranty Conditions set out below.
(b) This warranty is not transferable.
(c) If notified of a defect within the Warranty Period, Interia shall, subject to the limitation of liability provisions contained herein, at its sole option, either repair or replace all non-consumable parts found to be defective, under the guidelines herein, free of charge. Interia’s entire liability for any defective Goods shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the defective Goods. Interia reserves the right to determine whether the part is a consumable or a non-consumable part and whether the Goods or parts are defective.
(d) This warranty does not entitle the Buyer to upgrade to newer models or to product enhancements.
(e) Interia shall not be liable for any cost or expense incurred which does not arise from a defect covered by this warranty. Interia shall be entitled to charge for any labor costs such as inspection, normal servicing, reinstalling, transportation charges or any other expense incurred, or service requested which is not covered under the terms of this warranty.
(f) In the event that the Goods required for replacement are no longer in production and/or are obsolete, Interia will attempt to repair or replace the Goods with similar or like parts of equal value.
(g) Following authorization by Interia, Goods purchased on a supply only basis which are claimed to be defective should be returned by the Buyer at their own cost to Interia or any Interia designee, notified to the Buyer, for inspection. If found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, either repair or replacement of the defective Goods will be made and returned to Buyer at Interia’s cost.
The above limited warranty is subject to the following conditions:
(a) Interia warrants Goods to be free from defects in material or workmanship only under normal operation and/or in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification/operation manual.
(b) The warranty covers the Goods as supplied and shall not be applicable for any modifications, incorrect installations or deviation from the specification made by the Buyer or by any third party.
(c) The warranty does not extend to damage caused by:
- Liquid spillage, acid or other chemical contaminants causing fouling, blockages or damage to the Goods themselves;
- Non-compliance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and parameters stated in the installation and operation manual supplied with the Goods or otherwise notified to the Buyer;
- Insect or vermin infestation;
- Attempted installation or repair by anyone other than a certified Interia technician;
- Faulty installation, repair or servicing by the Buyer or any third party including but not limited to: shortfalls in installation practices; connection of electrical supplies not of the specified voltage or frequency; poor commissioning techniques; lack of adequate scheduled or preventative maintenance;
- Changes in the normal settings of the Goods;
- Damage due to alteration by or on behalf of the Buyer, installer or end user; Damage to parts and/or Goods due to abuse, misuse, accident, improper maintenance, mishandling or use in violation of manufacturer’s specifications or user instructions provided by or on behalf of Interia;
- Damage due to improper packaging or re-packing by a third party;
- Damage occasioned by the Buyer or any third party or caused by conditions beyond Interia’s reasonable control including, but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), vandalism, wars, acts of terrorism, insurrections.
(d) Warranties can only be honored if the Goods were purchased as new direct from the Interia and the Goods are installed within Indonesia.
(e) Any replacement Goods furnished at no cost to the Buyer in fulfilment of this warranty are warranted only for the unexpired portion of the original Warranty Period. Any service or repair provided outside the scope of this limited warranty shall be at Interia’s rates and terms then in effect.
(f) Under no circumstances is Interia obligated or responsible, under its terms of warranty, for any additional component built in, bundled or otherwise attached to the original Goods. In addition, Interia is not liable for warranty on any Goods or parts thereof that have been damaged as a direct or indirect result of Buyer’s “Value Added Feature” or other building or service feature.
(g) NORMAL “WEAR AND TEAR” IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. FURTHER, INTERIA HEREBY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE “WEAR AND TEAR” ON ANY AND ALL GOODS.
(h) To obtain Warranty Service, please contact Interia Customer Care via email to care@by-interia.com to determine the nature of the problem. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT INTERIA IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY ANY THIRD PARTY WHO MAY HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED BY THE BUYER TO INSTALL OR MAINTAIN THE GOODS. TAMPERING OR REMOVING THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE GOODS WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY IN ITS ENTIRETY.
(i) Save to the extent expressly set out in the purchase terms and to the extent permitted by law, Interia is not responsible for damages of any kind including, but not limited to, direct or indirect damages, lost profits, lost savings, or any special incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages whether for breach of contract, tort or otherwise, or whether arising out of the use of or inability to use the Goods, even if Interia or any dealer, distributor or authorized service provider/partner has advised of the possibility of such damages, or any claim by any other party.
(j) NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING HEREIN TO THE CONTRARY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTERIA’S ENTIRE LIABILITY TO THE BUYER, WHETHER PURSUANT TO ANY PROVISION OF THE PURCHASE TERMS, THE CONTRACT, ANY INDEMNITY, OR OTHERWISE IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE HOWSOEVER, SHALL BE AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE AMOUNTS ACTUALLY PAID BY THE BUYER TO INTERIA FOR THE GOODS WHICH ARE THE SUBJECT OF THE CLAIM FOR LIABILITY.
Flokk
We, PT Interia Regalia Nusantara (“Interia”), in coordination with Flokk AS (“Flokk”), hereby provide a warranty against the goods supplied by us of Flokk brands. This warranty is to the exclusion of, and hereby supersedes, all other warranties and representations, with the exception of any warranties required and or implied by Indonesian Law.
Interia warrants that, for a period from the date of delivery to the Buyer (“Warranty Period”) its Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees, at its option, to repair or replace those parts which are confirmed as defective by Interia, subject to the following terms and conditions:

Narbutas
We, PT Interia Regalia Nusantara (“Interia”), in coordination with UAB Narbutas International (“Narbutas”), hereby provide a warranty against the goods supplied by us of Narbutas brand. This warranty is to the exclusion of, and hereby supersedes, all other warranties and representations, with the exception of any warranties required and or implied by Indonesian Law.
Interia warrants that, for a period from the date of delivery to the Buyer (“Warranty Period”) its Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees, at its option, to repair or replace those parts which are confirmed as defective by Interia, subject to the following terms and conditions:
- The warranty period starts from the date of sale of the Products to the Buyer.
- In order to be entitled to services under this warranty, a written notification regarding the damage must be submitted to Interia immediately after it occurs.
- During the applicable warranty period, Interia, at its option, will repair or replace any Product, part or component, covered by this warranty and sold after the effective date of it, considering Product fails under normal use as a result of defect in material or workmanship.
- For Product replacement, the same procedure as for the ordering of new Products is followed.
- Interia reserves the right to request the return of damaged warranty Products before exchanging them.
- Extended Product use for more than 8 hours a day, 5 days a week will reduce the warranty period proportionally.
- Warranty repair execution can be carried out in the Buyer’s, Interia or Narbutas premises, by Narbutas, Interia or its authorized specialists. Assembly works and additional services are provided by the Seller.
- The non-warranty repair is carried out at the prices which are valid on the day when the Product’s defect is declared.
- The warranty period includes the period during which the Buyer could not use the Product because of its defect.
- Warranty repairs do not represent the start of a new warranty period.
- The furniture covered with the natural wood veneer may not have the same wood structure and pattern. There might also be minor cracks or branch structures typical for natural wood. Over the time Product’s coating shade might also change. This is not perceived as Product’s quality defect or the deterioration of the quality.
- Interia or Narbutas in no event shall be liable to any customer or any third party for any consequential, economic, indirect or incidental damages arising from the product defect, except cases where the consumer protection laws stipulate otherwise. Interia and Narbutas are not responsible for damages which occurs to the Product in transit. Visible damages in transit shall be noted on the delivery note (DN) in writing immediately after receipt of the Products and Interia shall be informed accordingly.
Non-standard furniture, which is made by unique, custom design or which has non-standard modifications, functions or other nonstandard construction solutions, considering Narbutas standard furniture range at the time, 2 years warranty applies.
Limited warranty applies for these products and components:
- 5 years warranty for SILENT ROOM acoustic pods, height adjustment mechanisms for ACTIVE, EASY, JAZZ, MOTION, MOTION EXECUTIVE, MOVE&LEAD desks, drawers, sliding and tambour type doors, gas lifts, castors, glides, worksurfaces, foam parts, upholstery materials (fabric, textile).
- 2 years warranty for height adjustment mechanisms for B ACTIVE, ONE desks, furniture electronic components, leather coverings, concrete bases, foldable frames, adhesive and suspension fittings.
Warranty service is applicable only if the Product defects are identified before the end of the warranty period. In any case, the warranty is not valid and is not applicable:
- If the Buyer or a third party dismounted, irresponsibly transported Products, improperly assembled them, damaged or lost their parts.
- If the fault or defect in the Product is caused by nonconformity of furniture installation, care and exploitation instructions.
- If the Product was used or exposed to unsuitable environmental conditions (excessive humidity, exposure to chemicals or outdoor settings if not meant to be).
- If defect appears because the Buyer of the Products assembled or temporarily stored it in the premises where the construction or decoration works took place.
- If the breakdown or defect appeared because of force majeure or accidents.
- If the Buyer has not informed about the defects and breakdowns within a reasonable time after he noticed or should have noticed the defects.
- If the Product, part or component is considered to be consumable (e. g. light bulbs, batteries).
- For normal wear and tear (e.g., changes in surface finishes due to aging or exposure to UV light), pilling of textiles, wrinkles, scars or other distinguishing marks occurring naturally on leather.
- For glass breakage, mechanical damage and scratches of materials, the damage of Products, and losses occurring during the exploitation of Products due to improper usage or conduct, as well as the non-standard use or improper interference by the third parties (violations).
- For differences in the linearity of grain in melamine faced chipboard and laminates occurring within the same batch, matching of colors, grain or texture.
To the extent allowed by law, any implied warranties are disclaimed and, to the extent they are legally required, are limited in duration of this written warranty. This warranty does not exclude or restrict statutory rights which cannot be excluded by law.
Novah
We, PT Interia Regalia Nusantara (“Interia”), in coordination with Novah (Shanghai) System Technology Co., Ltd. (“Novah”), hereby provide a warranty against the goods supplied by us of Novah brand. This warranty is to the exclusion of, and hereby supersedes, all other warranties and representations, with the exception of any warranties required and or implied by Indonesian Law.
Interia warrants that, for a period from the date of delivery to the Buyer (“Warranty Period”) its Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees, at its option, to repair or replace those parts which are confirmed as defective by Interia, subject to the following terms and conditions:
Novah provides 5 years warranty and lifetime service for all purchased products. Service details within warranty period are as below:
- Product Warranty is valid for original purchaser only.
- Product warranty starts from one month after production date or purchaser’s valid acceptance date (whichever earlier), warranty is invalid without project acceptance sheet. Warranty scope covers material defect and technology defect in normal using condition.
- Product warranty based on 48 hours per week and normal office environment, overloaded or non-office usage will deduct warranty timing correspondingly, non-office environment deduction ratio is 20%.
- Purchaser shall inform Novah in written form within warranty life, Novah will choose: Free repairs or replaces same parts or products.
Components Warranty Period
- Backrest & mechanisms, storage body, sofa frame, sizing foam, panel frame & modules, partition wall, and worktop support – 5 years
- Mesh, fabric, leather, cylinder, chair shell, cutting foam, base, HPL, wood veneer , painted surface, edge banding, hinge, mechanical lock, and slide – 3 years
- Powder coating, caster, glass/acrylic panel, armrest, chrome coating – 2 years
- Electrical products (including: electronic lock, outlet modules, high adjustment control, light, etc.), customized product, customer own material application – 1 year
- Damage caused by outdoor using. (for example: color fading, damp, mildew, rusting caused by environment.
- Damage or functional lose caused by damp or soaking. (for example: scratches).
- Damage caused by misusing or abusing. (for example: set on arm tablet).
- Normal wear and tear of finishes. (powder coating normal wear and tear, upholstery normal color fading).
- Slight color variation between batches.
- Inapplicable customer own material.
- Failure to install, reconfigure according to instructions.
- Over warranty life.
This limited statement including but not limited commonsense damage factor, unforeseen cause. When it happens, according to the inspect result of technician through negotiation.
Original purchaser shall handle cautiously about product transfer, in order to safeguard continuity service. This statement is remedy for product defect. If any consequential, indirect, incidental damages, they will be handled through negotiation. This statement shall be stamped, stapled and recorded as a part of Purchase and Sale contract. Software excepted, maintenance terms always refer to Purchase and Sale contract.
Benel
We, PT Interia Regalia Nusantara (“Interia”), in coordination with Benel Singapore Pte Ltd (“Benel”), hereby provide a warranty against the goods supplied by us of Benel brand. This warranty is to the exclusion of, and hereby supersedes, all other warranties and representations, with the exception of any warranties required and or implied by Indonesian Law.
Interia warrants that, for a period from the date of delivery to the Buyer (“Warranty Period”) its Goods will be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees, at its option, to repair or replace those parts which are confirmed as defective by Interia, subject to the following terms and conditions:
Benel provides a limited lifetime warranty to the original user effective from invoice date. Benel warrants the products sold to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the warranty periods specified. During the applicable warranty period, Benel, at its sole obligation, will repair or replace (at its option) with comparable product, part or component, if product, part or component fails under normal use as a result of a defect in material or workmanship.
The Warranty Period for the above products assume that the product is used an average or not more than forty hours per week. This applicable warranty period will be reduced in proportion to any increase in usage.
- During applicable warranty period: Parts replacement will be provided.
- After applicable warranty period: Parts available. Parts shall be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
This warranty does not apply to:
- Failure resulting from normal wear and tear.
- Warranty Seal on product is tampered, altered or damaged.
- Product that is damaged by the user as a result of accident, misuse, tampering, alteration, abuse or negligence.
- Product that is exposed to extreme environmental conditions.
- Product that has been subjected to improper storage.
- Product that is damaged during shipment or storage.
- Product that is not installed, used or maintained in accordance with Benel’s guidelines.
- Products that have in any way been modified, altered or substituted without Benel’s prior written consent and approval.
- Products that have had safety devices, warnings or operating instructions on the products altered, moved or removed.
- Any material provided by the customer for the product.
In addition, Benel does not warrant:
- Pilling of textiles.
- Foreign objects abrading fabric over time.
- Matching of colors, grains, or textures of natural materials.
- Colorfastness or matching of colors of textiles, including an exact match to cuttings, samples or swatch cards.
- Discoloration of any light-colored textiles due to soiling, stains, or dye transfer from clothing including denim.
- Natural variations in wood grain or figure or the presence of character marks.
- Changes in surface finishes, including colorfastness, due to aging or exposure to light.
- Damage from sharp objects or imprinting from writing instruments, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
This warranty statement describes all the warranties given and remedies available with respect to Benel’s products and services. Except as stated above, Benel disclaim any other warranty whether expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise, in relation to the products. Product repair or replacement in accordance with this warranty is the buyer’s exclusive remedy for any and all product defects.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE DISCLAIMED AND TO THE EXTENT THEY ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.
BENEL SHALL NOT HAVE ANY TORT LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCT AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, OR PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY PRODUCT DEFECT BENEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF TIME.
